My biggest recording problem? My cat Gus. He insists on jumping into my lap while I’m playing. He won’t get down, so I end up putting the guitar down and scritching him. If I close him outside of the room, he stands at the door and meows pitiably. There doesn’t appear to be a solution.

I’ve been sitting in a chair playing before and had our 45lb pooch climb into my lap…. Doesn’t matter there’s a guitar in the way. Can’t tell if she just needs some hugs and lap time… or doesn’t like what I’m doing and wants me to stop.

There's definitely a solution; buy Gus a set of drums.
Or, a bass guitar whichever he prefers.
