A $5,000.00 Pedal:

I bought two for $250 each, expecting them to do the same as their precursors. One is new in box. Played it once to make sure it works. It is money in the bank, with better interest and return.
That price or even double that in certain conditions, is perfectly reasonable to me honestly. $250 is more than fair if you bought it at that price upon release. $500 if its mint, original production, in box under the current market today is still fair really. $2000 though, someone is just gouging it

For the past few months, KTRs have been being listed on Reverb for $800- $1100. When they start to hold at $2000, I might sell my extra. Right now, all prices are insane. Doesn't matter what it is. For so many musicians being out of work, there sure is a lot of money flying about, with very little inventory available. As a result, prices keep climbing. Even on stuff you wouldn't expect it to.

I don't claim to understand the prices yesterday I was watching a guitar I own paid $3850.00 new it sold for $22,800.00
Now the Gibson Custom Shop only made 15 of that model that year USA baby.

got one for 45.00 on wish.com

works fine..... since I have no idea what a real one sounds like I guess its fine....... I mean it DOES a nice gain and has tone and volume -- its one of only 3 pedals I actually HAVE hooked up all the time --
Reverb pedal
KLON Klone
Behringer compressor sustainer

thats it that is THE might pedal board .............and when I use the Peavey VK20 I dont use ....any of them
the Comp/stainer is for bass mostly
and the reverb is used on and for amps that dont have reverb
the klon klone is for looks and occasional "flavor"

I have been on a self imposed purchasing moratorium due to the inflationary position of the current US economy since around February.
At that time I had sold off some gear to fund the used Gibson Studio that was a net outlay of under $100. - mostly due to NJ sales tax and shipping.
Love that guitar, even past the honeymoon regardless of the Gibson envy I admit to.

I did buy a bone nut for $6.50 and ordered 2 pairs of NOS Russian surplus 6P6S tubes recently.

I just might have to spring for the $44. Klon clone........

Ya, I bit, thanks for the link, Adrian @eSGEe

Once I digest it a bit, I will likely sell either it or the Soul Food.
