Looks like the Classic has a Slim-taper neck, Robert. That's what interests me, but I don't think that's for you - maybe check out the 2019 Traditional, it has the rounded neck. My '16 Trad has that neck and it's plenty beefy.

Trad's are not quite full-on '57/'58 (which I consider a blessing) but they are one of the beefier necks in the USA line. Somewhere between the '58 and '59 heft.

You are exactly correct. Both my 2016 Gibson SG T Series and my 2016 Les Paul 50's Tribute have the 'Rounded Profile.' I had a similar profile carved for my double neck with twin volutes...
