75th Year Of The Telecaster

From what i have found out looks like this was Telecaster 75th Anniversary edition in 2021. Some guy put this as 2026 75th Aniversery Tele on another forum. Looks like he made a mistake.

Well I was corrected this morning, so now i know, this is the 75th year Anniversary of the Telecaster. The words below have stated. So will Fender come out with a limited edition, stay tuned! By the way I have the 2021 75th Anniversary Fender Telecaster.

2021 was the 75th Anniversary of Fender (founded in 1946). My 2021 American Performer has that same 75th Anniversary decal on the back of the headstock.

Since 1951 is the year the name officially became "Telecaster" this year (2026) would be the 75th Anniversary of the Telecaster.

At least you have a genuine Tele to play. Mine is a SAGA Tele kit assemble by someone else. Painted with a brush. It was ugly. Once sanded down and refinished, it's not an all bad guitar..... for a cheapy.
The joke was apparently on the Fender guys back then the CV series came out. It sold so well that people like me couldn't get enough of them.

In 2010 when I got mine, the price was $279 for the '50's versions, and the CV 60's Customs ( Sunburst) were $299. Now they are $499 @ Sweetwater etc.

Here is a clip from a super nice guy, instructor and player in Canada, Robert Renman.

Seems like your Saga is a decent unit.

It does okay. Put a 4-way switch in it. Play it more in the 4th position that I do the other three.

What a weird nut width. 1.650.

Not doggin on your choice, just mentioning what I saw when I looked it up. I think my Classic Vibe '50's Tele has the same nut width.

I have a GT11 Strat, with the same nut width on a roasted maple neck, and it is the best-playing Fender neck I have ever picked up. So, a nice Tele companion may be in order.

These are an AmPro II version of the Custom Shop models, so they carry over the same narrow string spacing. Took me a minute to get used to but now the regular ones feel too wide.
