I'll just echo what others are saying...modded and some stock functions not working...run, don't walk, away from that. It's one guy's failed experiment that they are trying to dump on someone for cheap money.

I still don't get modding amps. If an amp doesn't sound the way you want it's not the right amp for you! Don't dick it up for someone else then unload it anyway, just to go find something that does sound the way you want.

A speaker swap however is completely reversible
and sometimes makes a world of difference.
My Supro Comet came from the factory
with a speaker that sounded like mud.
(Sorry Dave.)
I put a Jensen P10Q in there and now it sounds like God's amplifier.

I'm having to accept this premise...and it's why I am hesitant to start nodding my DSL40C
