way less than 6 amps. Here's a tip don't ever plug a HumX in the same circuit as a vacuum cleaner, will fry it. Hum eliminators are only good for ground loops which usually involve running 2 amps [not always] or more on the same circuit.
Morley hum eliminators come from Galvanic isolator technology.

I'm not convinced that HumX thing is really safe.
