4x3" cabinet???? Laney ????

little amps can be loads of fun at home----
this little Orange Crush 12 sounds HUGE through a peavey 12" Bandit cabinet.....--in the room--

I assume with a good mic it would record lovely
it wont beat a drummer-- cut through a mix or play madison sq garden -- so just dont even throw those negative waves at me--

but for dicikng around on a Sunday afternoon playing PARANOID with an SG ..............it gets all the Iommi juices flowing for 60.00 ----

My Yamaha THR-10X is also battery powered as an option. Sounds great, wish it had a speaker out. 2x5 watts, wide stereo sep, reverb, fx, sounds very good from headphone out into a recorder when you want to lay down some quick ideas.

Add one.....................................
@Hackmaster did to his (now my) Roland Micro Cube.........plugged into a 1x12 ---- its foogin gorgeous

Ive added similar to my Orange crush 12 and VOX vt20X --- anything with a small speaker (under 10") is GOING to sound smaller than it will through a BIG speaker -- period-- (and again it will not sound like a 100 watt HIWATT-- none of the amps in this thread will blow out windows ) ) but it will sound fuller richer deaper and IMHO better -- and I have done this with everything from the 3 mentioned here to Danelectro Honeytones and many others -- and NONE have ever sounded WORSE running through a larger cabinet........not a single one

"none of the amps in this thread will blow out windows"--- however if ytou run the out to an amplified system say a Bose Wave or similar well YOU CAN BLOW OUT SOME WINDOWS --
;)

In the review, I liked the Laney slightly over the Blackstar as for tones. To me the Boss even though sounded slightly better than Blackstar I would buy the Blackstar with the price range being lower. Overall I preferred the Laney. But I am in no rush to give up my Blackstar...it just works for me. With its MP3 output and phones its a sweet little amp. Add the other speaker which I have to it, makes a nice sounding amp.

Here is a crappy playing example--- of a used Orange Crush a HOLY GRAIL reverb that is so old it farts dust (have no IDEA how it got here from @Hackmaster -- so many trades so much beer....... LOL) and its running to a 12" Peavey Bandit Sheffield speaker also old as crap in a homemade cabinet -- I think @CabanaBoy gave me the amp in several pieces......with a "if you can build a box you can have it" sorta deal..........
the volume knob on the amp is at 2 (not 2:00) TWO -- and its vibrating the floor and made 2 dogs leave the room BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

stupid BIG FUN with cheap little amps
