Its insane that some loser with an inferiority complex ended any chance of a reunion for the most influential band of all time. Called himself a fan and then shoots John outside his home, just a few hours after he was a given an autograph on his copy of Double Fantasy by the man himself

I'll never forget it. It was a Monday but the news didn't hit most of us until we were in school the next morning and it was just like the entire building was a funeral parlor. Terrible, terrible day.

I was walking to my home room class at Monache High School in Porterville, California, in dense fog...when I heard a girl screaming from a classroom... "They shot John Lennon!"

One of the most shocking and sad days of my life! I loved The Beatles and John was always my favorite.

He was also a great human being IMHO. He took a lot of $hit for his deep love of Yoko...
