38 Years a Strat!!! How about you?

Wood fire oven, first opened in the twenties. The oven is so hot, the pizza is done in about five minutes. The crust is perfect.

You good Sir, get a love for that post!

Thursday, I get my second 5G dose. In three weeks, I should be able to travel again. I'm not sure if I want to hit NYC so quick, but the Village is calling my name.

I don't own very old guitars because I was kind of a late bloomer regarding gigging with real bands so I only had reasons to buy good instruments when I was in my early 30s, and I sold most of the cheaper stuff I had before that.

The oldest guitar I own is this '94 Fender Southern Cross Series strat. I bought it used about 8 years ago or so, and it's pretty beat up. It had been a gig tool for many years before and I use it mostly as a stunt for my US made strat when I need to gig at less than respectable places, seaside venues and other places that aren't really healthy for guitars. Still looks good in pictures, though...

I also use it for when I need to have a second guitar tuned to Open G or Open E at hand:

I am a Strat junkie and I especially love the maple fretboards because they seem to tell a story of all the songs that have been played on them over the years more so than rosewood. What's your other Strat look like?

My Tele is just now starting to show wear on the 9-15 frets and it seems to give it so much more character than my other guitars.

Oh, yeah, this one's FB is quite figured already, the guitar is 27 years old and never gets much rest. I'll try to take pictures and show them here.

My main strat is a black/rosewood American Standard:

It's easy to prime my pump....post a Strat and get a  every time. I like the strap, case and bandana as well. Bravo!

Thank you. This one is the guitar I take on the road more often. It's been played a lot but I take very good care of my guitars and it still looks new, except for the obligatory minor dings and pick scratches that you only notice if you look real close.

It came in a SKB flight case, and I bought this Fender Pro Series tweed one for it.

You guys got some nice Stratocasters...

Am I missing something? What do you mean by 5G?

I'm always making fun of the tinfoil hat crowd that think Covid came from a lab, and think the vaccine is a plot to contaminate you with 5G radiation and Bill Gates gets to implant a micro chip while the secret Jewish space lasers track you. My sense of humor doesn't always translate well to print.

I like the yellow neck one, whats that wood colled maple? but I don't like it when they go black in the spot where you have been playing.
