I was ordering some stuff from Amazon, so I added it on. It lacks the liner to prevent scratching. I hot glued some felt to the botton. It is useless as a wrench, it won't grip. It does help remove knobs. It was another episode in buying crap from China. I may buy the real thing for $11.00 so I can tighten the nuts under knobs, etc...

A fool learns from his own mistakes, a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. I'm a fool.

I got the ESP one. Couple years ago, I bought two of them from some vendor who was offering them at a very reasonable price with shipping. I don't remember exactly what I paid for them, but I'm pretty sure it averaged much less than $11 per each. I use mine quite a bit.

Funny story about the ESP spanner wrench tool: Like I said earlier... I bought two and gave one to a friend as a stocking-stuffer for Christmas. Just about a week ago, my friend was over and noticed the spanner wrench sitting on my work table. He picked it up and was trying to analyze it. Then he asked what is it? I gave him a very detailed rundown, showed him a few ways to use it, and pointed out how nicely it is finished. He then says: "That's a really nice and practical tool to have! I wish I had one!" And of coarse I said: "But you do have one, you decrepit old stinker!"

i have a cheap one and tried to use it a couple of times; not effective.
I also bought 2 different PRC 7mm truss rod wrenches and neither fits my Jackson.
