20 Reasons to get rid of all your gear and ship it to Zzzzz.

1) Are you really a decent guitar player after all?
2) You're married? Make your wife happy by freeing up space in your home for her crafting!
3) You need to spend more time at work earning money for your retirement
4) You have GAS and need to thin out your collection first
5) Your amp is used as a stand for nic nacs
6) A kid broke into your garage and stole your guitar. Give it away! That'll show him!
7) You have decided that you really don't like pointy things and want to invest in a Telecaster collection
8) You hate the guitars you have built and would rather not see them again
9) Your cat hates you and is only scratching the strings in an attempt to communicate his wish for you to stop making those horrible sound
10) You live somewhere near hell where the temperature is 3 digits and you know they will just melt anyway
11) You spend your summer away in a cottage and only need one guitar to play for your friends
12) Buying guns and ammo is more important to you than guitars
13) You have spent your entire life playing in bands & have come to the realization that you will not be the "next big thing."
14) Pedals? They are sitting on the floor and dust bunny families are viewing them as a potential residence.

I mostly prefer natural stains or dye on unfigured tops, but I do appreciate nice finish work on custom guitars. You've apparently got that down to a science.

Hah, just send money. The bodies I bought were already done at Warmoth when I bought them. I custom order the necks and buy all the hardware and then assemble. The 3 on the right have Purple Heart fretboards.

I don't know that I've ever played a guitar with a purple heart fretboard. Is it any different than rosewood or ebony?

It is harder than Rosewood and a tighter grain making bends a little easier. But ebony is top shelf in hardness and tight grain.
 
21. Like Art, you need different colors to create your masterpiece. You wouldn't want only one color on your palette, would you? Of course not. Just like you need several guitars to cover many sonic territories to create that perfect bit of art.
