2" X 12" Cab Ideas

I just ordered a cab from GC, shipping was $32.36 and it got here in 3 days.

Taxes is what gets you, I had to pay $60 in taxes on mine.

This looks like a good deal, but those taxes.

The obvious thing is:
you need a spare amp. What if a tube blows in the middle of a show?

I use two amps on stage since 1986 the one time I went on tour two Kittyhawk M1 amps went dead plug direct into the PA not fun
had to airfreight my 1967 Marshall Black Flag 50 watt amp it survived the tour.

Not exactly . I have no need to carry anything anywhere.
I have to many spares and only can play one, maybe 2 in stereo.

Well, if you have 2 amps, you need 4 guitars...

And if you have 4 guitars, you need 8 amps.

What I really liked was the Orange 1X12 cabinets. They was built pretty darn good. They sound pretty tight.

I built a TL806 cabinet with 2X the internal volume for 2 12 inch speakers, but it was pretty heavy.

There is now and then TL806 EV cabs listed on Craig's list, and you can probably find a pretty good deal on some used ones.
That might be my first instinct.
