2 pedals on the way

Since the wife imposed a moratorium on guitars, I have had to get creative in order to release my GAS, so here are 2 pedals in transit.

"The Morley George Lynch Tripler Pedal lets you route one guitar to up to three amps. A lot of players, including George Lynch, want to be able to hook up 3 amps and switch each independently or in any combination. Morley has designed the Tripler to do this, and at George's request, added a boost knob that increases the signal strength of the entire Tripler output to compensate for lost volume when using all 3 channels simultaneously. The Morley Tripler is housed in a cold rolled steel case for years of use and abuse. Comes with LED indication for each channel and runs on one 9V battery or optional Morley adapter."

Empress Effects Compressor
Features
  • All Analog Signal Path - no digitals in here!
  • Extremely Transparent - Add dynamic control without altering the original tone of your instrument
  • 3 Compression Ratios - 2:1, 4:1 and 10:1 ratios offer lots of flexibility
  • Attack and Release Control - allows for ultimate control over the compression characteristics
  • Mix - Blend uncompressed signal in with the compressed signal for parallel compression, New York Style!
  • Metering - Meter either gain reduction, input, or both.
  • True Display LEDs - Bright multi-color LEDs always let you know what the Compressor is doing.
  • Bass - Works great on bass!
  • True Bypass - The Empress Compressor employs true bypass, so you can be sure that it's not affecting the signal when disengaged.
  • Small Size - The enclosure measures approximately 4.5" by 3.5" by 1.5", which is delightfully small when considering all the features packed into this unit.
  • Beautiful Case - It has a sparkle you can't deny!

Uhoh...
Now you have to lug around 3 amplifiers.
So much for getting in and out of the venue in 1 trip.

Nice pedals . But I tried to tell you it was time to inform the wife you were going to sell a few guitars then you could get a few more
trust me I know the game LOL Also you need to give her the green light on the hedge Investment we discussed help to distract her
a bit.
I know but
- I am completely incapable of selling guitars. The one I had for sale, I pulled
- She is constantly thinking investment and has already targeted some metal thanks to your helpful suggestions
- She is impossible to distract. The woman is like a terminator!

Way cool pedals! The Morley is an A/B/C Y pedal. I like the analog compressor also. It has nice extras on it in an all analog path. You can't go wrong with something like that.

I had a Barber Tone Press which is very well reviewed, but I can tell you, there is NO comparison IMO. The noise is down and the tone is much sweeter since I swapped them. The Barber was 10 to 1 which may have been too much, but this is better than the Barber even at that ratio. It is also nice to have 3 ratio choices. If you find a deal, I highly recommend getting an Empress Compressor.

Cool pedals. Three amps sound intriguing.

You should consider buying new tuners. then, also look into some new pick ups.
Grab a bridge.
Maybe a few pots and a switch here and there.
Heck, you may as well get a tail piece at some point.

Then...

Honey, if you don't mind, I'm going to buy this guitar body. I have all these spare parts laying around.

Slip it by a piece at a time - nice!

I already have the 3 amps, so might as well make them easily accessible.

I just pulled off the, Eastern Reversal. That's when you get the husk first, then justify the parts purchases.

I must warn, This is NOT for the novice. Takes some sand.....you run the risk of ending up with a partial guitar and worse, returning it.

Way ahead of the game. I have the spare parts. I just need a body and neck!!

I don't have problems like this. When the "issue" you boys are describing arose I clearly stated that it's either deal with it or leave. I would buy what I needed/wanted when I choose to. I earned the money and I needed no "permission" to get what I chose to. Note: I went through three wives. Now my only "issue" today is funding my "assimilations" since I'm on a pension. But I still don't have to get permission either.

I like her more than guitars! Anyway, I am the first to admit that I may have a few more than I really need!

I've done this before. It worked out well. I wonder how many times can this plan work?

It seems like it's okay with women to buy a guitar in parts and pieces rather than to just buy a guitar outright. It's not the same the thing, even though it is.
