My oldest son is in the process of converting Mom's studio from the old Teac Multi-Track to a modern PC based setup. He is also converting her old songs into digital format so they can be posted.

He told me last night that he found an old video of a 1986 practice session, in the family studio, where I was singing lead and playing bass with Mom doing back up vocals.

He's converting it and I hope to have it up in this thread later today...

Who's Mom? Yours, the kids or Goo's? LOL

LOL, my Mom...she was a backup vocalist foe Buck Owens and Merle Haggard, plus did her own music too. I was in her band "Wild Rose" for many years....

1984 Electra-Westone bass in the background. That bass and Les Paul have been used on over 1,000 recridings...as best we can estimate!!!

Ok...this is a 1989 video, filmed in the studio, by our friend, the late Lyle Arthur. We are standing in the corner in front of the drum screen before the crates went up.

This was "Wild Rose Band" since the 1970's and Mom sold the rights to the name to another group and changed the name to EZ River Band in 1986.

The band features me on bass and lead vocals (at 24) Rick Davis on guitar, Mom (Nita No Haze) on guitar and backing vocals and Kenneth "The Magic Mountain" Dummar on drums.

I am playing the 1984 Electra-Westone bass show in the previous photos...

I hope you enjoy this truly rare glimpse into our musical past...

Very nice Robert. Smooth & emotionally stirring. An art-form that's mostly lost in today's newer music.
