It would have cost more, but there is this:

"...we're ironically calling "scarface". It earned that nickname because a previous owner (who undoubtedly was a Jimmy Page fan) decided to add an onboard fuzz circuit to the underside of the pickguard which was bulky enough that it required the removal of a small portion of the top in order for it to fit. Fortunately, in July of 1988, a very skilled luthier did a tremendous job of reverting the beauty back as close to its original cosmetic condition as possible by placing a piece of maple which matched the surrounding grain very well into where it was once removed."

I gotta say this... This is a pretty guitar. Les Pauls have a history in music and are the choice of many great guitarists. I have nothing bad to say about them. However as for myself, I prefer a SG any day. Joke about the neck dive if you will, say that a SG doesn't sound as good as a Les Paul, but for me I just find a SG more comfortable to hold and to play. There, I said it... Now all you LP lovers can slam me. :hide:

Well this is just added value and should increase the price!

Why so cheap?

I bet you can find one just as nice for $ 3,500!

Or nice enough....At least for me. I spent around $1500 for my new Classic, and I love it. of course, I had to assemble it too, but it was worth it.

I don't hate on someone who could afford that, I just know half that price would change my life rite now.

So...there is big repair under the pick guard and they fail to post a picture of it...

Well, if anyone buys it without a hands on they would lacking in judgement anyway...

Did you repair that one Ray?
