15 years ago today:

Pantera is one of the only bands i listen to from the time(to me) everything went to crap. Great Southern Trendkill, always fires me when i run, I saw that documentary..what total BS that guy had to do this. Becoming is a viscous song....

I hated them when I first heard them as well. It was a little too aggressive for my tastes at the time. But they grew on me and now they are in my list of favorites for sure. Dime and co. has had an influence on my own playing no doubt.

I always wondered if Pantera might reunite at some point had Darrell not been killed. Unfortunately we'll never know.

A truly great band. They had it all, man. Top of the world lol

AND they nearly single handedly carried the torch for the metal community throughout the 90s when the grunge movement started killing off all the hair and metal bands.
