100th Anniversary Epiphone Les Paul

lucky me then... the line just irritates me, and the more expensive the instrument is
the more irritating the mismatch (as I see it) is to me.

Which lets me off the hook when it comes to high priced Les Pauls. *laughs
I can't imagine paying more than $2000 for any guitar, so a $12,000 Les Paul seems like
something from another planet.

I'm obviously in a small minority, because everyone else seems to crow about Les Pauls
whether the seam shows in an obnoxious way or not. I don't mind. I don't want to make
anyone feel bad
about their cool Gibson, so I'll assure everyone that I'm aware of the
excellence of the Les Paul in all its forms. Live and let live, eh?

If I owned a Les Paul, maybe mine should be a painted one. But I still like the faded brown.
I'd rather play my SG.

219.00 over at Rondo gets you a nice book matched bit oh kit-----and yes its a veneer---and nope ---I really dont care. ;)

The SG is a fine guitar, but it lacks a certain 'nuance' that only the big, heavy Les Paul can give...I have avoided owning one for almost 30 years because of the weight and the imbalance while seated, but there is no denying, that the Les Paul is the Tone King...
