I gotta agree with gball. If you want a reasonably priced 5 watt tube amp, get yourself something like a Weber 5F1 Champ kit & throw it together following their layout. You wont regret it. I didn't use a kit but did use a Weber cabinet, speaker & some components, sourcing most myself but its a great little amp that sounds like a champ should. NOS/NIB tubes help & aren't that costly for a 5F1. Cheers

Get a Pignose battery amp over this Monoprice @ $99.
