Oh… “G” and “F” means Gibson and Fender. I see.
I thought the title was talking about keys - I play in those keys a lot!
As for tuning, all my electrics are tuned to standard pitch but I’ve started tuning my acoustic a full step down.
Moving on to guitars, yeah, any additional guitars I get will likely be a non-G or F.
At least, that’s what I’m saying today!
I have this goofy thought of building a guitar using only materials I can find at Home Depot or Lowes (at least the main body and neck lumber).
I can just hear the question, “Where did you get that guitar?”
Answer: “Home Depot, Aisle 16.”

I'd like to be able to stinker a high e above middle c in a crystal shoppe...
Everybody needs to aspire to something.
Lowering my expectations has been an incredible experience.
