This list is highly suspicious. Click bait. But it got me. I went on to discover these other songs written by Lennon and /or McCartney.

Didn’t Paul’s father teach piano? I find it hard to believe Paul nor John couldn’t read music. Same with Prince. Sight read as in an orchestra? Maybe not. But to say they couldn’t read a note. That’s just silly.

Kinda what I’ve suggested before. While maybe one can’t name the notes in the staff. Or look at the flats or sharps in the key signature and know what key you're in. If you can follow those bouncing dots on the page and know when to go up and go down. You’re reading music.

For example. I can read music. But I can’t just glance at the number of sharps or flats in the key signature and just spout out that the song is in the key of D.
