Adrian, I might add this kind of bass to one of my favorite types.

YEs-- its an OPNION list for sure--

I would take a T- series Peavey over the Warwick----or the Fodera....
But -- Scott is BRitish Im gonna guess he never has laid eyes on a Peavey T- series
ANd the EB and EB-O are Icons----

Adrian, I also know some friends who play some mighty nice basses called Spector

and as I have posted elsewhere a local company who is making awesome basses Brubaker guitars

those are nice------

but IMHO overpriced for what they are.......

Funny thing -- I have some "spendy" vintage basses-- but 9 out of 10 times when having a quick noodle--- I grab the lowly -- crappy 50.00 sale price pawn shop find--
Squire AFFINITY "P bass"
Or the WHOPPING 130.00 (ewh its a BOLT neck) -- EPIPHONE THUNDERBIRD..
both are solid great tone easy to play--- and -- if the dog knocks it off the stand-------------so what

blue p bass.jpg

and both sound KILLER through that 70's era tuck n roll KUSTOM 150----with 15" speaker -----boom boom in the doom room

Oh and my friends are pro's and their Spector is not the high end one but it has surely made him 1000 times the cost he paid for it just in gigs and recording.
