1 Watt song Recording attempt

Now that the recording set up is 10' away from me crazy amounts of ideas are flowing. last night had news on & jammed at 1 watt & liked it. When i put my ear to the speaker it sorta sounds like it would loud. So lets learn to manipulate this with mic placement & pre amp use. Never recorded other than band level & use to a percussive thump & certain levels have been set for band use for years. Lets try !!

Bug t5 is on 1 watt setting using a Gibson SGJ > Big Muff into a Royal Hall clone for a slight darkening for rythym & the boost side of pedal can kick in that over edge right where needed. 1 watt o.jpg
 
Kinda laughing at myself, all that volume for so long, dont get me wrong its still the best but making a song like this was easier. This pic is where it was done. No booths, loading & loading out, sang right into the mic right there. Sometimes we over complicate things instead of just spontaneously enjoyment of capturing an idea & recording. I can't sing but once i got over that, the shear amount of creativity & music that has been made is amazing. I enjoy that aspect of the hobby , really dont even mix it much, just level right like running a PA for the band.
