It hit 90 degrees here along the coast in New England. Even with a nice sea breeze, it was way too hot.

It wasn't supposed to break 76 degrees this week, but the winds took a shift and came from the south east. Our third day of this weather this week, and doesn't do much for making me want to work outside. As a result, nothing is getting done on my vacation. Which, is also not a bad thing either.

Normally, this is the week I’m home visiting relatives, and celebrating my wife’s birthday. Today it’s raining, but the rest of the week looks quite nice.

Yeah, the dry heat I can handle. It's when it hits 90 plus humidity that really kills me. I break an instant sweat just opening the front door!

I forgot to mention that every now and then I will ask Alexa what the humidity is outside and at 1am, I think it was Sunday night, it was 82° and 100% humidity....at friggin 1am. How did people ever sleep before air conditioning?!?!

Lots of box fans! We didn't have AC in Ohio my entire life. My parents finally had it installed after I left home.

I never knew what I was missing so it didn't bother me. Now I'd die without it...

Here in the High Desert it gets to 112 in the summer and only goes down into the high 80's at night sometimes. At least the humidity stays below 20%

One year when we used to go to Colorado, we had to change planes in Houston. In July. I thought we ended up in Hell. The heat and humidity was so bad I thought we were going to need scuba tanks to breathe.
July?

Come down in August when the sun gets really angry.
