The Who had 'Tommy: A Rock Opera' (1969) and 'Quadrophenia' (1973), and one might even make a case for 'The Who Sell Out 'being a concept album, being presented as a sort of ersatz radio show complete with adverts.

My little sister River was sitting over by the large bay window in the living room looking out at the night, and she was listening to some music with her headphones on.
It was something 'aggro', as she would put it.
That much i could tell just by the way her body was moving in time with the music, even without our empathetic connection ... or the volume bleed.

As i watched, i saw her...

The soldiers were getting boisterous.
A group of them had gathered in this small Belleville café which remained open despite the curfew, and now they were all drunk, harassing the waiters and insulting anyone there who had the unfortunate luck to look less than ideally Aryan in their eyes.

Now a few of them had come over to the table where Hannah, Kat and the thin man in the light grey suit were sitting...
 
Not for the weak at heart.
This lyric took about 3 days to finalize.
The video will follow, it is a blend of mythical and legend mixed with some tongue and cheek.

Verse 1

The Caretaker walks the alleys
Through the endless night
Searching for the Master
The one who steels the light

Verse 2

Behind the seedy Bourbon Street
A customer arrives
One more pin to make him fall
One more can make him .... die

Verse 3

Between the earth and crackling sky
The daylight’s growing weak
The strength of the Master
Calls the caretaker to silence
Another forever sleeps

Down the alley, shadows move
The caretaker appears
A crimson glow beneath his coat
The Voodoo Master nears

So as it is written
It will now begin
The Master makes his final move
The caretaker meets the deadly sinner
