✧ Project: Orpheus - Imagine Create Share ✧

Interesting how last fall as this Orpheus concept started, it pushed me into getting serious about the back end of mixing & mastering & see if the songs would stand up to AI from being simply recorded at home., Originally wanted to do a 10 song concept about it from non AI perspective, but as i wrote & tracked, life... simply started capturing the emotion of whats going on. Def into a formula now,

4 concepts in a looper working on>
4 songs tracking>
4 in mix>
4 in master>
release Spotify & YouTube

so there is always few months of backlog when I need to step back & not force a new song & can still enjoy the mixing & mastering.

What a blessing its been. 15 singles & 5 song EP released, no AI since Jan 1st

House is set up as a flip a few switches & can capture anytime,

The stage is set as I age out to enjoy what always have, writing songs, it was always about the songs to me & hearing a concept in the brain get finished

I believe when your 10 songs are done here & thread is over will be able to put together 10 from all my songs as the Anti AI made version of Orpheus. as "my" project challenge. orpheus got me motivated to be better actually & def learn there is no competition , no better or worse..there is just the shear joy we get when we make music from the heart & capture it !!

@BFT Gibson
For me Orpheus has always been about lighting a creative spark and then nurturing it and making it grow ...
so it seems to me that everything you've done is fully in the spirit of the project !
Carry on!
Well, your creative spark is definitely lit with how much music you make, good stuff.

I think what Orpheus has helped me with is re focus on the music & not how or who but what I can do with what i got. Sometimes lose that perspective & forget to focus on a song vs the gear, or this or that ect.. basics, back to basics

It did open me up to AI & even in my work we are greatly affected by it recently. It is something just have to deal with & it is cool to see how our music does stand up to AI produced.

So back when this project had lift off , I had a vague idea of what to do @TVvoodoo laid out the path and challenge as it were.

I had decided that Sci-Fi was going to be my concept. I started writing ideas down , I came up with not such great ones but I forged ahead.

In January of this year I had multiple versions of a song that turned out to me to be cutting edge, of course I see it that way
The description I wrote in Suno:

“AI tells this story of Deep Space travel, imagining 100 years in the future.”
Of course Sci Fi , you have to have some imagination, if you are so rooted in your current realty it’s definitely a stretch.

Imagine 100 years in the future , space travel is like air transportation is now.
Deep space is more obtainable.
Traveling outside of the Orrt cloud.
Rather than me explaining that I’ll let NASA do that

“The Oort Cloud is the most distant region in our solar system, and it's jaw-droppingly far away, extending perhaps one-quarter to halfway from our Sun to the next star.

To appreciate the distance to the Oort Cloud, it’s helpful to set aside miles and kilometers and instead use the astronomical unit, or AU — a unit defined as the distance between Earth and the Sun, with 1 AU being roughly 93 million miles or 150 million kilometers.”

For comparison, Pluto’s more elliptical orbit carries it between about 30 and 50 astronomical units from the Sun. The inner edge of the Oort Cloud, however, is thought to be located between 2,000 and 5,000 AU from the Sun, with the outer edge being located somewhere between 10,000 and 100,000 AU from the Sun.
I don’t want to make this 1000 characters.

AI is the character perspective, the astronaut has been traveling in space for his entire life, AI is maintaining tracking and communicating. The human subject is suffering psychological drift. The signal is delayed due to the distance.
The question remains, will earth survive?
I have a sequel idea.

Sorry if this makes your head hurt. lol

The Orpheus project was not designed to be strictly AI , it is optional.
So BFT your project fits here also.
