I got a cheap one when I first got back to playing. I couldn't bear to be stuck in the area of the basement where the electonics are. I deal with the downside (eating batteries.)

Neck is routed to final profile (almost! My top bearing template bit isnt long enough. I will need to put the bottom bearing bit on to finish the thickest part back near the heel.)

Here's what it will look like for the most part. The fretboard is just taped on at the moment. Truss rod access cavity is done. This is readly for the fretboard to be glued on.
