The eSGEe Holy Grail of Basses

Ernie Ball seems to make a nice quality instrument all around. I've never owned one, but I've ogled them enough at times - lol...

I am hoping I wasn't thread jacking, but knowing Adrian's affection for basses, I was sure he would not mind me talking about the Gib ones like this, or like the ones he owns. Also about Ricky's since he built his own Rick Copy etc.

teats on a bull...

seems like varying the tread width on a bulldozer...
does it dig deeper if the treads are 24" wide, or 27" wide...
let's try it both ways...

although I do like to play subtle tones myself, I'm in a rather
rare situation, accompanying a finger picking acoustic player
who never plugs in, but insists on miking his instruments.

a guy who plays jazz might use some of this technology,
although the jazz guys I know are not too interested in technology,
but more into technique and expression. finger work.

but for the rest of us... just get in the pocket and keep the
whole band together. *grins

Don't fuss with all those little switches, you might drop a beat.

Q: "How late does yer band play, man?"

A: "Oh, just a couple beats behind the drummer..."

I have "simple" boom sticks too Col.

But it’s about signal flow.

The guitar signal goes OUT of the jack!
