My Takamine Jasmine Acoustic Guitar...

I bought this guitar several years back at a pawn shop for a very good price including a hard shell case. It's a Takamine Jasmine steel-string acoustic guitar with built in electronics that includes an EQ and volume controls. It also has an LED light to indicate when the battery is low. The fret board has bound edges just like on the body...the same colour. The wood on the whole guitar is quite spectacular looking which caught my eye when purchasing it. I like the cutaway on the body for better upper fret access and the guitar overall plays very well and sounds full & vibrant. The tuning machines work well and seem to be good quality. I think Takamine guitars are good quality instruments overall and for a good price...not over the top like some other guitars. Here are some pictures.

That is really a great guitar. It looks like it is ready to go, beach, trail or motor. I really love those and play my friends when ever she is stupid enough to leave it out. Not stupid, she is just trying to get the kids off the street.
I wanted a Takemine 12 string really bad but it was overpriced. It needed much work and still hung in at $450.00

Nice Takamine Black! Is that a punched hole pick? I made a few of them many years ago.

Thanks for the compliment Don.:) Actually my pick is not a punched-hole but just a graphic of an acoustic guitar. I think the punched hole on your pick is a great idea because you can better grip the pick. I have a brass TECKPICK that I got back in 1988 that has 3 holes drilled into it. I guessed it's purpose was for better gripping especially if you have sweaty hands or fingers.
