BOSS GT-100...Thoughts.

Now that the BOSS GT-1000 is out the GT-100 is selling cheap. I might pick one up.

Any experience out there?

Can’t answer about the 100. But I’ve been on stage with a guy that used an older model. I think a GT6. It was awesome. Gotta think the 100 even more so.

I have a cheapy multieffect box. I may have dropped 50 bucks on it. I don’t use it plugged into the amp. Have stomp boxes for that. I use it with head phones. For me, a great way to practice.

Right, the new GT-1000 is supposed to be in the Helix league. The GT-100 is $499 new, but used prices are dropping due to the release of the GT-1000.
There is also the ME-80 which looks cool too...not sure I like any of them??? I'll buy new from Sweetwater so I have a no questions return available...

The GT-1 looks kind of interesting. Been watching used prices on that one. But to date it seems everyone want enough for the box plus shipping, I might as well buy new from Sweetwater. Get warranty. And free shipping.

I haven’t spent much time with it yet. I barely got through trying the 250 presets, of which maybe 15 were something I could work with. June and half of July are filled with other stuff to do. It is well made, the gui is simple and I loaded the iPad app but haven’t used it yet.

Will do a report when I can spend about 4 hours with it.

Honestly, haven't tried it. But, I'm gonna buy the boss gt1 soon. Only $199. So what the heck.

Yes...and a Kemper...now I'm looking for a multi FX board. That's why I asked about the GT-100. The AXE FX8 is looking nice at the moment...

thats a little ridiculous and 15 are usable ??? for how much $$$ -- this BOSS GT is deemed an ANTI FERENGI sanctioned DEVICE ---

Already researched myself to death...and based on the fact I have a BOSS Katana that will do all the effects in the GT-100...I don't need it!

Now off to look at AXE FX...
