R n R Hall OF Fame, Like it or Lump it....

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is nothing but a corporate entity that enlists bands or solo performers that conform to this inbred corporate landscape we live in. It's just like the House Of Blues if you ask me. And also this thread is a copy of "To What Are Yee Listening Right Now" thread...same thing over.

Not exactly,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Black. What I currently am listening to is 2 Concerts back to back on Axs tv. First was Yes, 2nd is Foreigner. Next up were these vids. Not RnR Hall material but still tasty.

Besides, maybe I meant the umbrella of R n R Hall Of Fame to mean more than your definition of the literal entity we know as that place and spectacle of shows with various artists the corporate big wigs deem worthy to be enshrined there. In other words, if the real rockers of this world (US) had to pick bands they feel deserving of the highest regard and thus true R n R Fame then I ask for (US) to pick a song or 2 we feel that illustrates and cements that greatness.

Like how I posted Mother Earth for Eric Burdon and War.

David Crosby says Ted Nugent 'just isn't good enough' to be in Rock Hall of Fame. Ted Nugent performing at Rams Head Live in Baltimore. David Crosby said on Twitter Aug. 14, 2017, Nugent has been snubbed from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because he "just isn't good enough," not because of his conservative politics.

The Great Derek St Holmes and Ted killing it.

I didn't mean to knock your thread me little BIG buddy...I just feel that there are so many good bands out that didn't make it to the R 'n' R Hall Of Fame and I thought this thread was a dedication to the Hall OF Fame itself. But if you ask me Mr. Trololo in this video should be inducted...just ask Goldmember.

Nope Black, not to the " R n R HOF" but THEE ROCK N ROLL HOF of true fans and players such as us. Good musicians are good musicians. I don't give a F'n F about the political, hidden agenda types that run that other place.

Also, if anyone deserves to be in THEE HOF it is this guy. Sadly I just now found out he died in January this year.

Roe Erister "Rick" Hall[1] (January 31, 1932 – January 2, 2018)[2] was an American record producer, songwriter, music publisher, and musician best known as the owner and proprietor of FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. As the "Father of Muscle Shoals Music", he was influential in recording and promoting both country and soul music, and in helping develop the careers of such musicians as Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Duane Allman and Etta James.

Hall was inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 1985 and also received the John Herbert Orr Pioneer Award.[3] In 2014, he won the Grammy Trustees Award in recognition of his lengthy career. Hall remained active in the music industry with FAME Studios, FAME Records, and FAME Publishing

Cool videos chili willy! Since I'm at the library I can't watch the whole thing but I checked out some clips. I like watching documentaries...I'll write down the titles and watch them on my notebook at the mall which has free WiFi.:)
