[Discussion] What would you buy if money were no object?

For many of these choices, I bet that as soon as you could have it, you would realize you really do not want it.

Anyway, for me, the most rewarding guitar, even more than the ones I have made play well myself, is my custom order Tom Anderson Droptop. So...if I chose to be carefree with money, it would be a PRS Private Stock. I would go to Maryland and pick out the woods, discuss the configuration, ask for specific pup characteristics, and custom switches. I think that may be worth the 15K-ish it miight cost, in a perverse sort of way!

WHich bass........Ive all ready got my "dream basses" covered.

Maybe I would just hire SLASH to come over and give me some lessons! ANd John Paul JOnes to give me a few Bass "tips" lol :)

That has far too many switches and knobs for you sir. Maybe you can glue them in place to adapt it to your taste

What about Dennis Deyoung's Blouse? Great guitar playing, but I am sure if I had seen this live when I was 12, I might have puked at the less than manly attire of what appeared like a bearded lady up there singing.
