Yup, personally I would agree 110% ...those are my fave. But, than again I'm a huge priest fan. However there are millions of fans and non-fans that are familiar with Another thing coming....Millions!! That's part of my reasoning for my hof nomination selection.

So I got a slightly different approach to the request, chilli. Ever since I read about the golden record album on the Voyager spacecraft decades ago, I thought, what song would I want to be on that album if I got to chose to represent rock and roll to an alien race. I thought about it off and on for over a year and then settled on this. Is this the best R&R song, no certainly not. But what it does have, IMHO, is a lot of good components of R&R wrapped up in a GOOD song. It’s got:

A great driving rhythm with the bass and drums
Excellent drum track
Dynamics
Organ solo
Guitar solo
Story telling guitar licks
Backup singers
Timeless lyrics
Great transitions

One of my top 10 all time favorites.
