Guitars and BEER!

Start with the obvious....that guitar
Thanks for all the enthusiastic compliments! That guitar was on the verge of being completely destroyed. The original Gibson paint on it was all black, in polyurethane. This is an all mahogany guitar that sounds very close to a Tele.

Here's a better view of it:

As most of you know I don't drink anymore...been about 34 or 35 weeks now. But when I did I really liked IPA beers and this one was one of my favourite brands. No guitar but a guitar head-stock on the can.

Cool... the brewing company is from Canada...

Hey Black... Letting you know again, that I'm always pulling for you in your sobriety. Back in darker times, I could easily see your struggles. Nowadays, judging by how you post, I see a very refreshed and very positive person. Keep up the great job you're doing... :H5:

The strangest thing this neck... Living close to the mountains, SG mahogany necks move around so much you have to tune the guitars up all the time; my previous 3 SGs all needed tuning several times a day; whenever you picked them up to play, morning or night, you'd either tweek the neck or retune. This ultra thin neck and basic tuners should be a nightmare, but it holds tune as well as my fugly tele with a hard maple neck and locking tuners - weird.

Very cool. It needs a little toy surfer floating on the blue part, or maybe some demons.
