Three Day Weekend and...

Chris-- Im about with you -- though as Im in sales -- the bids/quote and prospecting I will do this weekend--- are all SPECULATIVE--- sucking HOURS with no guarantee of return--at least you KNOW you will make $$$

AND they threw a "MUST HAVE by Tuesday" 5 year sales projection report --- at us yesterday--- well looks like I have LOTS to do indoors this rainy weekend. ---and FYI its raining ---

Flatrock--- WTF?!?!?!? take it easy and kick that pneumonias ARSE!!!! for GOOD

I know someone who worked a lot of overtime hours and made real good money at it but was shocked later to learn how much tax he had to pay back. I think it was like around $4,000 and that's a lot of dough. It's like he almost worked those overtime hours for nothing!

It's the Wife's big 50, so 10 of us are going to Par-Tay!!!

I should survive. But if I don't, it's been fun!!

Great place for it! Have fun.

I too will have to work all weekend it appears, but I console myself in the knowledge that in less than a month I am taking a week-and-a-half off and throwing the computer and cell phone in a drawer for the whole time.

Goldmember is starting his three-day weekend by drinking a 5.5% ice beer.
I ain't-a-gonna work, just to end up paying more taxes. I'm-a-gonna BBQ every frickin' day!
I may even wear just shorts and boots, or perhaps, Crocs. They look Dutch, yesh?
I've got my tarragon dried and ground, butter chillin' in the fridge, Preparation-H in the rear,
and I'll be off to the market for some lamb soon. It's burgers for the kids and ribeye for Mrs.
Goldmember.

I feel ya. I spend a couple of weeks sometimes putting quotes together that top a million dollars, only to be underbid by some cut-throat, “two schmucks and a truck” type of outfit.
