A new addition

TUCK N ROLL BABY!

When I ordered up an amp today, I meant to get a Gibson stool too but I kinda half forgot and half thought $100 was a bit steep. For comfortable playing though, I really should.

Dave---- how you liking that little Mustang???

To be honest I don't like it very much, but I've never liked practice amps very much. It's kind of like asking me which brand of toilet paper I prefer. I like compared to some others I've tried, it's certainly not the worst, and might even be one of the better ones, but while it works and isn't too painful I don't care much. I certainly don't get any tones out of it that compare to those of my stage amp.

I've never liked built in effects either. Ideally the best practice amp for me would be a small version of my big Peavey but those 6505MH heads are too expensive for practice

Well said!!!!!

Agreed. I've basically given up on "practice" amps, they are nothing but a compromise. My Mesas sound better at low/conversation volume than any practice amp ever made and then I can open them up and gig with them and still get pretty much the same sound only louder. I've actually been giving some thought to selling all my practice amps.

This is my smallest "practice" amp...no better tone I've found...

I can say the larger version with the 12" speaker is much fuller and richer in tone---

However nothing used in the house at decent non neighbor pissing off levels is going to compare---ever--- to a full on stage rig..... but you cant put the stage rig in the bathroom and sing in the shower.......wait--- perhaps I have said to muchy
