Before I got the Velvet Fuzz, I said I never had a good fuzz. It turns out, there was one on my board alrerady. I just had to learn how to get fuzzy!

The yellow Empress fuzz is really nice (very nearly bought one) - I presume that's the same circuit.

Nice discovery. Very fuzzy fuzz coming out of that Empress! I bet the Overdrive and Distortion circuits are pretty decent, too...

All three are quite good and they run in parallel. Distortion has crunch, mild and lead selections. Also, the low and high pass filters and 3 band eq make for powerful shaping tools
