Thinking about a new car

Actually if you look closely at the video, the color change effect is computer generated. Notice the people and stuff in the background is all in B&W except for some things that are the same color as the car.

Id rather have this than the Bugatti

It's cool and all but that silver in the middle isn't the original color. I had a lifted 77' F-250 with that 2 tone green paint. It's actually a ugly mint green in the middle instead of silver.

My friend Steve and I both had F-250's our friend got a F-150 we called Doug 5 lugger Dougger then our Keyboard player Doug had a Honda with a broken lug hence the name 3 lugger Dougger.

I will say those things were beasts! Mine had a 351m in it and 4spd!. When I bought it, it had a 12" lift and 40's under it. I put 36' Thornbirds on it and would pull people out of the ditch every winter...it had custom made round iron bumpers made and a dual roll bar. Thank god I worked 10 minutes from the house. It got like 7 MPG :p I traded it for another Trans Am :)

*true story...every 3 months I would be going down the road and my rear axle would fall out. The angle of the lift was hard on the u-joint :(

Mine is a 1/2 ton 77 2x4 with a 302 and C4. Copper Penny color.
Like this 76. I always wished it was a 4x4 though. In snow and mud, it would have saved my AZZ quite a number of times over the years I've owned it.

Sad thing is today I would trade my Trans Am for that 77' F-250 :p The copper 2 tone if I am not mistaken was a light tan color. Cool truck though!

What I liked about mine was how bare bones it is, but the thing I don't like is the Kingpin front ends, the wandering steering that comes with worn Ford Steering boxes and how east coast salt rusts our car bodies into crap. I have a 1988-90 F150 2x4 I am thinking about swapping the body of my 77 onto and getting the improved steering and suspension qualities of the 88 with the body style of the 77.

The other possible bad to the bone truck I have is a 1986 F250 dually that was converted to a 4x4 with a Dana 60 front end in it.
The trouble with that truck is it has a 460 gas motor in it. If I had more cash, I would love getting it running and restored. The only trouble is gas is almost $3 a gallon again and that truck would probably never pass a gas station.

Mine resembles this one.

I do remember that lol but as you said it's bar bones. You don't have this computer going bad or all the electrical issues that can arise. That's what I like about them. I am getting ready to replace my power window motors as 20 years of use has made them slow & the placement of some of the stuff under the hood leaves you thinking there wasn't a better place for that....as you ca see problems can arise from where they are now :(

Well it's been $3+ a gallon here forever so there is that.....
