Just for fun, I thought I would post these two videos:

Video #1 - 2016 Gibson SG Burstbucker Pro Bridge (9.32kΩ) - Guitar Volume/Tone @ 10 - Pole Pieces Flush with Cover - 4/32" From Strings

Video #2 - 2016 Gibson Les Paul 498T Bridge (13.81kΩ) - Guitar Volume/Tone @ 10 - Pole Pieces Set To String Radius - 4/32" From Strings (As Delivered)

Amp Settings Same In Both Videos:

Both videos sound real good but as you know I'm partial to the 498T pick up. It has a sweet mid-range tone and it cuts through the mix very well. But overall I do not find any BIG difference between both guitars. The amplifier usually is more responsible for the sound IMHO.;)

I have the 498 set stock in my current SG and if I don't do SD's this time it will be BB Pro's. As I said before my 1st SG was a clean headstock break/repaired and a wrapped bridge and BB Pro's installed. Plugged into a green channel on a DSL 50 it was amazing! I should have just stayed there but you know how GAS works :(
Eventually my SG will be rewired to get rid of the circuit board and wrap the bridge. The other 1/2 wants a new Washer & Dryer now......I am paying for remodeling and was going to buy a new shower next payday and the new pickups and start remodeling 1 of the bathrooms and my SG but she has other plans of course:bash:
