Anyways.... Yesterday, I got to touch a lot of wood...

Ha ha... my long time buddy who works at Ernie Ball Music Man guitar factory, gave me a 30 minute tour of the whole place. I felt like I was at Disneyland without waiting at the long lines for each ride attraction.

Starting with the warehouse area where all that glorious and different types of TONEWOODS are received and stored, to the final station were the completely finished guitars are going thru final setup and inspection. I could have easily hung out there for hours... what a treat! These EBMM's are beautiful guitars.

EBMM also manufactures a lot of their own hardware. The machine shop was one of the many interesting things I got to observe over there. Very noisy place, and I had to walk around with ear plugs inserted and safety glasses most of the times due to OSHA regulations. They build a lot of their own pickups, too. Some of the electronics in their guitars is just wild.

I wish I could have taken pics, but I did not want to get thrown out!

Anyways... There's been some extra Tele-gas around here, lately. Yesterday I pulled the trigger on a Tele kit from Precision Guitar Kits... Esquire style!

I actually caught a few fish too! The pictures are on the little action camera(mounted on the pole in the first pic). I have to actually fire up a computer to get at them...

Nice pictures Don Looks relaxing for sure!!! only one thing I see you got your SUV dirty. No more relaxing get that vehicle cleaned up.

Specs on paper look good. I find it interesting that this amp is using two EL34's, but only putting out 20 watts...

So anyway, in case anyone needs to take a 350# cap off a truck and you don't have help. Try this....

All you need is a couple 2x4, four tie downs, some eyebolts, and a strong back.

Rig 2x4 with eyebolts. Do the same on ceiling, and hang tie downs...


Get in truck bed, lift cap with back, slip 2x4 under front and back section. Call medic for spine adjustment.



Now just connect straps to eyelet, and gently lift each an inch.



Now, carefully drive away.



And that's it. By now your hernia and spine have healed. You can now safely use your truck to move your favorite piano.
