Hey Ray...now that's a black beauty geetar for sure. I've seen YouTube videos before on the Soltero and they look like real comfy playing guitars. I think the body is fairly thin for playing comfort...am I right?

SG today - all day. This has BKP Mississippi Queen neck and BKP Manhattan bridge. I made a neck dive counter weight. It has a threaded dumbbell collar in it. It has that wide G400 neck. Other than the neck dive issue, this is a fine player

Nice guitar Ray! Is that an Epiphone SG G400? I've played a faded G400 a while back in the music store and I was very impressed with the build quality and feel & the sound of the guitar...felt just as good or even better than my Gibson SG. I was contiplating on buying before some teenager pick it up and bought it right away. I felt heartbroken at the time.:(

Yes, it is a 2007 Epiphone g-400, limited edition 1966 reissue. I got it used from Dave's for under $ 300 shipped.

My first time mic'ing this cab...or any bass amp in a looong time.(I usually just DI the bass) It was fun, and I will be doing it again soon. Next time I may try mic'ing one of the ports.

Tonight, well...perhaps a bit more work than actual playing...a Von Herndon Stagecrafter came back to me for fretboard oiling, a string gauge change and bridge pickup swap...
