Pulled Trigger on Fender 68 Custom DR

Been checking these out for a while now. I've had the itch for one of these since they popped into the scene. Even though I like the regular ones, this one has a few features which drew me to it. I like the Bassman tone stack on the Custom channel. I also like that the reverb and vibro work on both channels. The Celestion it comes with gives it a tasty flavor also. I got two years to pay it off interest free. I got money knocked off on it also. I originally inquired regarding a demo one they were selling. There was enough wiggle room for me to pay a few dollars more and get a new one in the box. It was around $16 more for a new one in the box with no tax and free shipping. I knew I was going to land one of these but, I did not know it would be new or used. I did not know I would be getting one this soon.

i'm torn between the Deluxe and the Vibroluxe. No real need for this much amp, but a 2 x 10 Fender? i had an original, wish i hadn't sold it.

Dag gum it! It is 11:10 AM and that dog gone Fed Ex truck has not pulled up to my door yet. It is not like a little kid waiting for Santa at all. I need to run around some with my Dad and I can't leave until it gets here. I have to sign for it! I got all the domestic details done for today so far. I also want to wash my car this afternoon so I already vacuumed my hot rod.

Okay folks, I'm busy as all get go right now but...........................here is a few shots. I tried it out slightly with my American Special Strat and my SG both. In the future I'll try to get some sound or video of it but for right now, here are a couple of shots.

This one sounds just as bitchen as the other ones I have tried out or heard so far guys. I wonder what the bias for these are? In the future I like to put all TAD glass in it perhaps.

It has sort of a cage around the power tubes. I love Marshalls and Vox with many others but there is nothing like a good Fender tube amp folks.
