Sorry, Man...I wanted black switch tips but couldn't remember the thread pitch on the USA made Switchcraft parts...

I was gonna say screw some nuts on there till you find the right one and go from there.
I did that with the threaded weld nuts on my 18w chassis.
I found a short screw that fit the threads properly, identified the threads on the match up thing in Lowes in the hardware dept and got the longer metric screws I needed.

I know you found your answer, Robert. But, in the future just go to Stew-Mac.

They sell different color switch tips and they fit Switchcraft, which OEMs the Gibson part.

Yes. That's good advice. There is a lot of technical data on their site...

I'm glad you found it. I think in general, it's either import/metric, or American/SAE. I have a couple of stores near me that carry both. When I need something, I bring it with me to test fit. Doing though the mail is a pain. I hope my sources stay open.

I knew, it is a course thread. Not a 5 .08 or a 4 .08 because it a Switchcraft. The thread is uss and it looks too course.
