Not me, sorry. They were the essence of dad rock to me growing up in the '70's, the very opposite of the music I liked. Great players in that band (Felder in particular is ridiculous) but could never get into their music.
I liked a lot of metal and rock all through the 1980's - Dio, Ozzy, Leppard, Motorhead, Scorpions, etc. - but the versatility of the Eagles music always appealed to me. As I have gotten older, I like their music more and more. It has enough rock tone to keep me interested and a little country phrasing here and there too. When I played as a relief guitarist in an Eagles tribute band, it was, to me, the perfect job. I never got tired of performing their songs...
