Today I took a big plunge. Not saying exactly too many details, but today I bought my first White guitar at exactly 10 PM Eastern time.

That is, to me, a near perfect SG! If I ever bump in to one like that in the wild, I would do what ever I could to pick it up, and make it mine.

If anyone is interested, one can obviously see it has EMG's. However the original pots and 1976 Gibson pickups also come with it in the case. Essentially it will be my effort to preserve time and lovingly care for this Bicentennial year SG.

Thanks Robert, the best part is I get to pick it up locally so no damage or loss or crap that happens in shipping can happen.

Robert, I bet Smitty will flip when he gets to try her out. Believe it or not, it is body heavy. I suspect it will have 0 neck dive.
My 2016 has no dive. Lightest guitar I have.

Mine dives but I don’t notice it at all. Nowhere near as bad as my Firebird anyway.

Goo, I am going to have to get used to it's unwide nut. I told my buddy who went to the shop with me that it seemed like a 1 9/16.
I guess if Ukelele and Mandolin players can operate on small necks, so can I.
