Direct from Goldmember's Lair: JCM 2000 DSL 50 made in 2000, with a 1960a cab from 2002, loaded with the original Celestion G12T-75 speakers. My plan is to go full Greenback in the future. Original PCB, with no evidence of runaway bias, as my re-valve (JJ e34l x 2) of the power amp section rendered the bias steady for over an hour. Levels only go to "10." I got this head recently in an even trade for an American Special Tele which I never played. Secret ingredient is the Rocktron Hush pedal (on top of amp, and set at 9 o'clock), which runs at line level through the effects loop. The Hush pedal is designed for a maximum input of +5dBu.

That is dangerously awesome!!

Thanks, RVA. ;) This is the first time in my life that I have such a rig. I've been a bottom-feeder for years. Schijt! I just noticed that even my curtains and light stand are gold!

Ahh, but now you need gold tolex and gold mesh on that amp, and paint the Marshall badge
gold too....

Kudos and Golden Grahams to You!!

Thats some serious hardware.
Do you play a lot of ......
Golden Oldies?

I actually had a schmoke and a pancake breakfast a few days last week but failed to document it photographically.
Get in Mah Belleeh!!

Pardon me for my absence. I was on golden blonde...or was that golden pond? Did I mention that I shagged Jane Fonda back in the 70s?

Thanks for the many compliments, mates. I have discovered the groove of carefully buying an amp and cab used!

Good man for using your gold member on Barbarella! She was still quite doable back in the 70s.
