So Anyway...

So anyway, this is coming up.

New York Guitar Show & Exposition 2018 | Freeport Recreation Center, New York City, NY

I will be going at least one of the days, possibly both depending on how big it is.
I will be the one wearing a Tone House studios baseball cap. See you there?

Real cool. Thanks for the info. I was looking at directions, then I googled it and saw there is also a show that's closer to me on April 8.

I'll be going to one or both of those shows. Looking forward to it.

So anyway....
90ish hours off grid for me...just a few hours shy of four full days with no power, and sporadic cell service, at home...
I received three shipments of stuff that mostly requires power to enjoy, of course.
On the bright side, it looks like steaks for dinner for a week or two. Thanks to the stockpile of vacuum packed steaks that I had squirreled away in my dysfunctional freezer. It was cold enough to save most of the refrigerated goods, but not the freezer. I hope they have potatoes in stock at the grocery store.

that sounds moderately horrible......hope they get the juice back to you soon
Got it back around 1:00PM today(while I was at work). Lost it Friday afternoon around 5:00PM.
Wood stove and charcoal grillin' for me the last few days. Wake up, stoke the stove up to heat the water for coffee in the French press(only because it’s faster than my camp percolator, and my camp percolator is in need of updating...it’s pretty beat).

Ohhh, been there many times. It's always the best when everything powers back up. I lost power for a week last fall. Sucked!! But, to loose it midwinter......that's just terrible!!

Tomorrow we get our second nor'easter in a week. Made it thru the last one no issue. Crossing my fingers again. Glad to hear your getting back on track. Plug that amp in!!

Thanks! I made it through fine, although a little stressed. Now I get to do a couple of fun projects too...now that I can fire up the soldering iron!...but that’s another story. I’m thankful for the set up I have here. I can make it through without too much trouble if I’m prepared properly.
I had plenty of wood, food, coffee, and my water heater actually still held some warm water this morning when I got ready for work.(well...warmer than what was coming out when the cold water was on instead)

So anyway, about 3 weeks ago, my work server crashed. My cloud backup solution was pathetic. Luckily, my IT guy was able to recover the data. Then my fun, music computer started to fail at home. As of yesterday, eveveything is hopefully back to my new normal. It has been a long, tiring, and very expensive journey.

wow--- digital disasters a plenty!
Hope things are back and speeding along the info super highway :)
