The Burst Stratocaster Club

Ok, I'm a bit late to this party '& its not really a burst per se, but here's mineWP_20160722_007.jpg
Alder body with flame maple cap (not veneer) with the red tint sprayed around the perimeter, burst style. This is a great guitar, absolutely stock & staying that way. Everything I want in a strat. Has the "delta" tone system which I really like. Well done giving up smoking guitarweasel, I gotta do the same. Cheers

Heres my Cheapie SSO.
Rondo / SX Hawk, supposed to be a quilted (photo) burst.
Good player and sounds good now with only the neck and body the original bones.
I could have got away with just the nut and pickups, for a while at least.

First brand new guitar I ever bought at around $100. shipped.
The internet said you have to upgrade everything.
I bought that at first.

I cant find newer better pics of the whole guitar.
The pic by the amp is current.

Super Distortion in bridge, modded for bridge tone control. I also put in the best switch I could find (I always do).

Edit

The only original parts are the wood, frets and neck plate. I used: Fender locking tuners, Switchcraft switch and jack, Dimatzio custom taper pots on a Dragonfire loaded pickguard, American string trees, Mexi bridge. I just wanted something for my SD pickup that was lying around. It started life as a Squier Bullet. Its been an ongoing project. The only thing I liked was the neck.

Kevin, yes they are Lace Sensor pickups. They have different colored fonts that mean something but heck if I can remember what. The ebony fret board is sweet for a Strat.

On my perfect White Strat I have the Lace Sensors. Yes they have the colors meaning something.
The middle are silver and they are wound the opposite way. The bridge are red, I have them split and I think the neck is blue. Blue means you bought the complete set of Nigi turtles or something. I knew it in and out when I put them in. I really like these pups a lot. They came stock on a fancy model of Strat years ago.

This was at a jam thing in a Paris bar very late. Well that liquor that is illegal in most of the world because it eats at your brain. Well I had a snoot full of that horse pee, they did shoot the horse. The drunk lady and I got mad at Candy O in my apartment in Paris. We took it apart in a mood of soft hate. Ten years later I put Candy O back together. The worst thing is rail pickups on a Fender Strat. I redeemed my self and put better pups on it. Tia is playing Candy O and the other picture is it and I still am not done.
