The Muse I Adorn

That is a LOVELY Agile--- LOVE that classic color ! well done!
The burst transition is a little wonky. The pic doesnt show it but the flame pattern is really nice.
I am an Agile believer, the build quality, fit and finish, and hardware are way above what I would expect for a $225. guitar.

I think its fine to post pics of the same guitar. I dont get bored of it.
Add context; why are you playing this particular instrument, etc.

I usually hold back on real music comment as my depth of knowledge is shallow, I can joke about like a pro :-(
I pick that Strat up as it somehow instantly feel like I've been playing it for an hour and my warm up is almost unnecessary. I'm having weekly lessons and looking for consistency and steady improvement, don't want to confuse myself unnecessarily. The others in my class play acoustic and when I tried to run my practice routine on an acoustic I go backwards a couple of weeks.

Couldnt agree more.....best bang for the buck in guitars going......I have never gotten a "stinker" from Rondo...

Haaa funny.
I have a few not seen on TTR but as far as "The Muse I Adorn" I can make this thread boring by adorning the same guitar almost every day.
HSS American Special with a 15 serial number so it's a 2015 or 2016.

What’s to the left of that Strat? I see 12 tuners holes but only 6 tuners.

It is a converted 12 string, which will be converted back one day.

Yep just as Ray said.
It came to me as a PitBull ES12 kit for my dear wife who just loves her 12 strings. After some work it turned into a great piece of timber with 8 coats of matte clear (her choice) but was VERY lacking in the electrical area. Wasn't being played so I've progressively upgraded it with Duncan pickups from our member Hack, complete harness from Sigler Music (920D) and a bone nut. I had to set the bridge lower than adjustment allowed then leveled and crowned. Bingo!!! turned into a very good guitar but alas I'm not up to 12 standards so I converted her to 6 string.
Now comes the problem ... she who must be obeyed found out how good it now is and I'm under instruction to turn it back into a 12 string :-(
I see this as an opportunity to buy a new Gibson 335 or 339 for myself :-)

Originally there were 3 and none were combos.

(Sorry. Hadda.)
Ok, "selections". I will never fault you for being precise.

Is it true that strats used to only have a 3 way switch?

EDIT - Wow, no 5-way until the late '70s. Learn something new every day!

I decided to splash a little color around here today. After all, it is Friday! Here is my 2013 American Standard Strat with S1 switching in Burgundy Mist.

That S1 switching sure is a versatile option but looks a bit complicated at first until you get used to the different sounds. That's a beauty guitar Ray...I really like the Burgundy Mist colour. I also like the back heel of the guitar where the neck joins onto the body where it's sculpted for easier upper fret access. I own a '98 Fender American Standard in a much darker, bordeaux metallic purple that doesn't have no S1 switching but I added my own switch which is a neck-on switch. Instead of 5 positions I have now 7. When I have the bridge pup on only then flick on the neck switch both pickups are out-of-phase which is a very cool sound. I also like having all 3 pick ups on at once for a very sparkling and shimmering sound. BTW...can I ask a question Ray? How many guitars do you have now?...50?:hmmm::wink:
