Black Is Beautiful

Explain the Rose and convince that person why to keep the stock off brand tremolo. Biggest point is keep it stock so the resale value doesn't drop below $99.99 and that is where tap dancing comes in.

I'm going to check it out in the real world.

Way back in 2011, I found one in a local shop on a Reverend guitar. The smooth feel got my attention, and the fact that it can be(easily) set to downward only to allow drop tuning on the fly...that clinched it for me. I tried one on one of my SGs, and when I was trying to decide what to put on the Flying V husk that I acquired....I figured it wasn’t that much more expensive than a nice bridge and tailpiece set, and easier than retrofitting a short Meastro(grounding and tailpiece holes and such)...so I procured a second one. I sure wasn’t going to take the one off my SG.

This a very interesting find. My friend from Erie Pennsylvania has old guitar part and labeled and catalogued. The town he lives in has nothing, the music store is bad. He makes trips to different places and always brings interesting stuff home. His wife and son are into it just as much as John.
I will give him a buzz and see what is up on the Stetsbar front. He sees that video I know he will have one or five. There are about 80 guys in his circle that started before the internet. They still keep this impossible guitar part thing private. They only deal with each other and close friends. I am one of the few outsiders. Like the dark web with flood lights.

weird headstock onthe gibbo
Custom shop...the alignment of the D, and G strings probably helps with the only issues I’ve had with the D string binding in the nut, and staying a couple of cents sharp. The V's nut does pretty good in its factory form, with just a little lube at string changes. I’ve finally got the SG nut(a replacement...the original...one of the slots chipped out on me...my bad) set up pretty well too.
They both return to pitch reliably.

never seen a gibbo headstock like that one........nope ....never.....like they forgot the wings.......and went all "Epiphoneish" on it........its an odd new world gents.......

They are on Amazon and EBay! A hot ticket that I never heard of.

You can buy them direct from him too...at his site. I remember asking questions before ordering...he had a laugh at my internet pseudonym via email. He even remembered me the second time around, when I had more/other questions. I don’t know if he’s still as “hands on”.

For Robert :)

Thank you! Now I am making a Jazz Master and I am going with the stock hardware. I will start another mess by next week. I will try to go with one of them on that figuratively speaking abortion. Those are not my words but the guy who buys them says that.
