I just got woke up at 5:15 am with an emergency call from work. Second day in a row that I am awakened early.

A kid I knew growing up had a beer making dad. Lots of sediment at the bottom of the bottles...but it was good to get drunk on.

Hahaha! A ventriloqust puppet! That would make for the most absurd beer talk ever.:D

The event went really well, btw. I was originally asked to do a very basic talk about how beer is made, because they expectet the audience to be people not brewing themselves, but when I arrived at the event it turned out that most of the people in attendance were homebrewers with at least a minimum of experience. I figured it would be better to give them a more advanced talk about some of the most important technical factors to focus on if you want to make really good beer. I already had a PP presentation on my Mac about the subject from an earlier talk (about five or six years ago), so I just used that instead of the one I prepared yesterday. It went down really well. They even gave me some flowers to bring home to my wife.:cheers: Now I’m at home again, with a belly full of fresh shrimp, a glass of good beer in my hand and 2000 NOK ($250) in my pocket. Some Saturdays are better than others.

Sounds awesome! Its 11:00am and I just had beer #1 with a hot pepper breakfast. Its a great day!
 
Well, I was watching Bayern München vs Schalke. BM won the match 2-1. I'm now planning on grilling fajitas
and onions outside.

Aha. Today was a North London derby. Tottenham beat Arsenal. Right now I just assessed the prospects for something to watch on TV this evening. Nothing - just "entertainment" crud.
